Valerie Wilson - Valerie Wilson

Valerie Wilson now lives in Italy. She was born in Scotland, went to school in Scotland and graduated from Edinburgh University with an Honours degree in Modern Languages including courses in literature and history.

After work experience in Germany, she moved to Italy, first of all attending the Università per Stranieri in Perugia, then settling in Genoa.

Most of her working life has been spent in Genoa, working in administrative, commercial and financial positions in shipping-related fields. Work in multi-national companies has been a good opportunity to visit other countries, not just as a tourist, and to have daily contacts with colleagues in USA, Scandinavia, UK and other nations.

Interests include literature (in English, Italian, French and German), art, history, ballet, gardening, as well as current affairs and finance.
